His recurring role as Professor Proton on The Big Bang Theory is great.

I've been watching reruns of the original Bob Newhart Show on FETV lately, and I've really been enjoying it. I think I might have seen a little bit of this show back in the 80's, but not as much as some of the other classic sitcoms I love.

Weirdly I just watched an early episode of McCales Navy that kept popping up in the utube que . Featuring Tim Conway. He was a funny guy with a long and deserved successful career. RIP.

Does anyone else remember his short-lived comedy Western Rango? I remember in the opening or closing credits they showed him sitting in a rocking chair with his rifle across his lap, and when he tried to get up the rifle was stuck in the armrests, and there was an Indian character who was the smartest guy in the ensemble but he was always planning some scheme, sort of like the Gruber character in McHale's Navy.
