    Twofer Segue Songs..Any Suggestions?

I've always liked listening to songs, synergistic when paired, songs that merge and segue into each other. Segue songs like Led Zeppelin's -Heartbreaker/Living Loving Maid.... Boston's Foreplay/Longtime....Queen's "We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions".... or The Kings- "This Beat Goes On/Switching to Glide".

Please, suggest segue songs twofers that you like.

Yeah! Both those are great. I forgot about that Intro/Sweet Jane combo. I got that album. I'm breaking it out today.

Great segue from Garden Party to Market Square Heroes in the early Marillion (mid-80s) live album Real To Reel.

I loved the segue between The Cowboy Song and Boys Are Back In Town on Thin Lizzy's Live And Dangerous.

Traveler In Time/Easy Livin' and The Magician's Birthday/Love Machine on Uriah Heep Live also come to mind.

Then you've got Vicki/Homesick Again on Nazareth's Close Enough For Rock N Roll, though I'm not sure if those are the droids you're looking for, since Vicki actually more or less ends, but the count in for Homesick Again sort of overlaps with the last chord of Vicki.

I always liked the What Shall We Do Now (or was it Empty Spaces?)/Young Lust segue on the studio version of The Wall.

And if you'll take a threefer segue, on Boston's Don't Look Back, you've got Don't Look Back/The Journey/It's Easy. And on Third Stage, there was We're Ready/The Launch/Cool The Engines.

    One of my favorites EVER!!!!

"Draft Morning" is so hauntingly sad and "Wasn't Born to Follow" is a great example of psychedelic country (using the term country a bit loosely).

FWIW, I don't consider "Heartbreaker/"Living Loving Maid" a very good example. They simply have a small gap in between. In fact, I have a vinyl pressing that has a proper gap.

A few more that I thought of:

Pink Floyd: Shine On You Crazy Diamond pts. I-V/Welcome To The Machine
Pink Floyd: Have A Cigar/Wish You Were Here/Shine On You Crazy Diamond pts. VI-IX
Hawkwind: Fifth Second Of Forever/Dust Of Time
    Hawklords: Automoton/25 Years
Electric Light Orchestra: Concerto For A Rainy Day
Miles Davis: the unedited sets on the Fillmore East 1970 boxset
    Grateful Dead: He's Gone/The Other One/Stella Blue, from 10/17/1974
Grateful Dead: Eyes Of The World/China Doll, from 10/19/74
    Grateful Dead: Sugar Magnolia/He's Gone/Truckin'/Black Peter/Sunshine Daydream, from 10/19/74
Grateful Dead: That's It For The Other One/New Potato Caboose (from Anthem Of The Sun)
Grateful Dead: Alabama Getaway/Greatest Story Ever Told (from Dick's Picks Vol. VIII)
Grateful Dead: Scarlet Begonias/Fire On THe Mountain (from Dick's Picks Vol. VI, among many other examples)
Grateful Dead: Sugar Magnolia/Scarlet Begonias from 7/16/90

There's a bunch of other Dead examples, but the exact dates are lost in my mind.

Here's another Spirit twofer: from the first album "Mechanical World" followed, without a break, by "Taurus."

Love the mention of the Byrds' "Draft Morning/Wasn't Born to Follow." Classic!

Looking forward to my day in court.

All examples I was thinking of when I wanted to start a thread.

    I also had:

Genesis: Home by the Sea/Second Home by the Sea
The Beatles: Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End

Uh oh. Here comes the medley-vs.-twofer-segue debate.

    Good ones!

I'll add Future Times/Rejoice from everyone's favorite Yes album. Seriously, though, always loved how these two songs were paired.

Not sure if they really segue, but I've always liked how Cook with Fire merges into High Time on Heat's Dog & Butterfly.

Several segues here, but the best is at about 5:00 from Baker St. Muse sequing into Pig Me and the Whore.
