Thread: BEST OF 2019 ... so far

  1. #151
For the last few years, I’ve tried to just come up with a personal “Top Three” for the year. This is gonna be a difficult year, because there have been so many good releases so far, and there are still a few more to go (hopefully!).

I’m waiting until the new Flower Kings album comes out before I start really working on it.

    that good eh?
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

It's really hard for me to narrow down a favorite. One day one thing sounds amazing. Another day, something else does, affected by mood, energy level, weather, time of day... and there's a lot of stuff out that is comparable in quality. But since it's fresh I suppose I could hail the new Thieves' Kitchen as my favorite.

    Today, anyway.

pretty sure the majority of progfans will at least find the Top Tier albums very pleasing, even if not as highly regarded as I hold them
