The Hare And Hoofe - s/t I will keep championing this most interesting and creative British rock band. Pete Townshend would have been proud of the space rock-opera The Terror of Melton

Steve Gunn, Cass McCobs, Bill Mackay have some very solid singer-songwriter music out in 2019.

Angel Bat Dawid - The Oracle is a brilliant morcel of space-avant jazz that introduces a great, new player in the field of progressive music. The Sunwatchers - Illegal Moves is also pretty great.

The Flying Luttenbachers, Tracteur, PAK offer a lot of musical pain and pleasure in their 2019 releases.

Special mention to some good music released in 2019 by old underdogs Nik Turner and Supersister

[Looking forward to my Poil vinyl arriving soon. I wasn't thrilled with the new Ni. Sounded too single-dimensional, but it was just one listen.]

Have you found any more camples for Kenner? What you included was outstanding!

Eitan is actually a friend and I've been fortunate to hear the entire album. The scope of style is fairly broad, but his Kickstarter-campaign video from a while back provides a pretty good set of camples that should provide a more complete picture of the album as a whole:

Nothing -EVER- beats a new Dreater, man. But I see that Ron Anderson has assembled a whole new crew for Bestial, and that there are lyrics and some keys as well - just like in the good ol' Motel days! I need this.

I only wish he'd had his great-grandpa/grand-uncle thrice-removed Jon sing those lyrics. Jon could use some singin' 'bout stompin'n'pumpin'.

Flying Luttenbachers- Shattered Dimensions / After 12 years the band is back with a bunch of Brooklyn avant heavy weights joining WW. More on the ol punk jazz tip than the brutal prog the band was pumping out in the aughts.

Sunn 0))- Life Metal / Drone metal lords best since Monoliths & Dimensions, surprising warmth. Sounds great, recorded by Steve Albini.

Helium Horse Fly- Hollowed / Belgian rockmetalnoiseprog

Xiu Xiu- Girl with Basket of Fruit / Never got on with these indie darlings, but I dig the freaked noisy post-industrial sounds here and their usual histrionics come off more palatable than ever before.

Black to Comm- Seven Horses for Seven Kings / Dark soundscapes, think NWWish, but there is a rhythmic underpining to a lot of these dark oppressive pieces.

Paal Nilssen Love et al.- New Japanese Noise; New Brazilian Funk/ Free improv, one noisy funky, the other noisy noisy.

Wyxz- YiY. / Brootz progz, no physical issue

Also digging some of KK Null’s digital only noise releases, lots of variety

I believe it is the same, he has just decided to consider it a Prefab Sprout album for purposes of the reissue.

Recently read a piece about McAloon which suggested he has around 40 albums worth of unreleased material in the can. Apparently he writes and records very prolifically, but is quite selective in what he releases.
