^^ All that would be required is a simple software patch to convert existing players into all region players. Just about any BD player made within the past decade or so can update themselves via the internet.

Are there any blu-ray players that will play the audio when watching at 1.5 or 2x speed? I have a Pioneer DVD player that does that and it's great for getting through documentaries and interviews. --Peter
