Genesis' Back in NYC cover by 10 year old Camila Pocoví played live voice and piano

She does a great job of covering Back in NYC. https://youtu.be/BAZUyrcZwdw

She does Supper's Ready and Ripples too.

    Very entertaining/impressive!
What can this strange device be? When I touch it, it brings forth a sound (2112)

    Thanks for the embed

The Ripples version she sings is fantastic also, looks like Phil was watching but not sure the situation; either he liked it or not? My guess, is he liked it I think he was watching in amazement.

Just beautiful (both NYC & Ripples)!!

Since her last name isn't Smith or Jones, could it be that she is the daughter of Little Atlas's original drummer Diego?

She is amazing. To be able to express her feeling, interpretation and musical ability at this age, reinforces my belief there are some children who are born with very old souls.
I was surfing YouTube yesterday looking at some studio gear and came across a video of an artist demoing Omnisphere VST software. Strangely, the day before I had seen another video of this young woman playing keys again, and was impressed by her level of musicianship and soulful playing.

I apologize to the poster if this detracts from their original post and will delete the video if you so wish, please let me know.
I'm only posting it to further demonstrate my "old souls" comment.

It looks like I'm the only one here who didn't like it. I don't like her voice, the phrasing, the mood, the piano. Please go easy on me it's just my opinion.

No reason to have to explain. We all have opinions, likes, dislikes, we see, hear and interpret things different, that's what I think as a human race makes us unique.
I only listened to NY City and not the whole thing, but I heard enough to make the comment I did earlier regarding her talent.
A number of times I could fill in the blanks of this "I don't like her voice, the phrasing, the mood, the piano" for vocalists with major prog acts that I personally don't care for and wind up not buying any of their albums. But a lot of folks here will talk about how good it is.

It's fine to have your own opinion, and if we disagree, that's fine.

^^You're right we all have different tastes and opinions. I just wanted to make it clear I wasn't commenting on her ability or potential future in music. Beyond that I was half-joking about going easy on me because everyone prior to me posted that they liked it.

Yes, but we all know of forums out there where a comment like that will bring mobs out into the street, armed with pitchforks and burning sticks of fire, ready to burn the heretic at the stake. lol

I liked Back in NYC, but didn't think she quite got Ripples down - BUT early days yet for this talented little girl!

    Camila ruined Phil Collins?
The sound on Ripples isn't stellar and its a bit hard to appreciate the singing with the echo and the chit chat in the background, but I got "Supper's Ready" in my YT recommendations and saw it in its entirety - very good! She actually nailed the phrasing perfectly, though she doesn't have the range of PG and it does get slightly wobbly at times.

It's not unreasonable to assume she may have been pushed into performing this material, then again, my daughter, who was a major fan of Disney's Tarzan as a kid, wanted very much to delve into Collins musical past, appreciating it muchly, including Genesis.

Just imagine what she will be like when she's 11!

Seriously though, it's all upside for this young lady. We can only hope that she continues to use her superpowers for good and not evil!
