Jonathan Coe (Rotter's Club) as a musician

Doing a little search for more infos after finishing Jonathan Coe's latest book (and first Brexit novel ever) Middle England , which can be seen as The Rotter's Club part 3, I discovered that he's also a musician and has released two albums.

The first album called 9th & 13th was released in 2001 (same year as the Rotter's Club novel was published) seems to be closely linked to the Rotter's Club if one reads the different track titles, but predates the TV series (from 2005)

The latter called Unnecessary Music was released in 2015 and is a real "solo affair"

Apparently he was also in a band during the 80's

my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.

I found out about that too a few years ago and managed to buy the first album.
According to the liner notes words have been used from novels like What A Carve Up, The Dwarves Of Death, The Hous of Sleep and indeed The Rotters' Club.
The album was basicly recorded when he was writing the latter novel.
