Rudolph should of gotten a game.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?
There are only 10 types of people in the World, those who understand binary and those that don't.
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?
I believe Rudolph should get a one-game suspension as well. Not that I think he did anything that justified Garrett's actions but it is a good object lesson to today's youth and well, a lot of people actually... be careful what you wish for. Rudolph instigated and set in motion the series of events that led to the incident. I agree with all the suspensions that the NFL has handed out thus far but to overlook the instigator is to diminish his role in what happened. Hopefully Rudolph learned a lesson about picking fights and biting off more than you can chew.
Escalated sure. Instigated? No way. 15 seconds left in a game your team has won and you whip around and tackle a defenseless QB like that? Unacceptable.
WANTED: Sig-worthy quote.
I'd stop short of calling Rudolph the "instigator." Garrett wrestled him to the turf long after the ball was gone and then pushed Rudolph when they were on the ground. That was when Rudolph reacted, and definitely escalated the situation by pulling on Garrett's helmet. But I still see Garrett as the instigator of the whole stupid and unnecessary situation. What he did would provoke a reaction from almost anybody, and while I agree Rudoplh overreacted, I don't see him as having started this.
I'm on the fence on Rudoplh getting a game. Wouldn't break my heart if he did, and I agree he needs to learn a lesson from this because he definitely made a bad situation worse. But I'd also be OK with him getting a fine. I do believe he will get something when they have time to sort everything out.
Crazy.

Apparently Rudolph grabbed the guy's package.......
Garrett's actions were reprehensible. I'm ok with Pouncey getting 3 games for having his QB's back. Lost in all the melee was the abysmal offensive performance by Pitt again.
This is no playoff team. (cue Jim Mora)

I'm in a pub watching ESPN. They're showing the clip of the helmet that rocked the league.....over, and over, and over. In slo-mo, over and over. If he would've gotten hit square with the crown of the helmet Rudolph would be in the hospital.

Too soon??

Garrett is being held by a bigger guy while another out of control player is gonna try and beat on you. I'd probably try and smack him with the helmet also.
NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF STUPID PEOPLE IN LARGE GROUPS!
Report is that Garrett will appeal and Rudolph will be fined.
Until it gets foggy
