Yeah, it's got "business move" all over it.

The league has been trying to revamp its image as the "No Fun League" over the last few seasons. Spontaneous celebrations are one thing but staged exhibitions are mostly lame. There might have been some clever group things but most are so contrived. I wished the league would have called it after two seasons. It's not about being unprofessional or unbecoming; it's about running out of good ideas and presenting shitty ones.

I'll take the current situation over flags for celebrations any day.

celebrations are fun, let 'em do it

the complaint that it 'wastes time' is pretty lame, there's only like 13 minutes of action in a 3 1/2 hour NFL game

With a home game against the Jets, the mighty Dolphins have a good shot at their first win this week.

Dalton benched in Cincy. Rookie Ryan Finley is now the starter. Pretty much a younger version of Dalton. That offensive line might just get him killed. You get first
crack at him Ed. Cincy is on a bye this week, then face Baltimore.

Never mind the alleged waste of time, I just think choreographed celebrations are retarded. You score, you have a spontaneous celebration, you move on. The best is still Sanders just handing the ball to the official after scoring. It tells you I've been here before and will return, so no big whoop...

I completely agree, especially about Barry Sanders. Guess that makes me "no fun," but to me the joy is in the sport and sportsmanship, not in these retarded "look at me" antics. To me, it's never been about wasting time. That's not what is off-putting to me about it.

They've pretty much emptied the well by now, but some of the group "performances" were clever and entertaining. You guys need to drink more beer when you watch football.

Cards put up a fight. They are starting to look like a team. They still have a few holes to fill and they're in a crazy tough division, but I like where they are heading...

Caught the first quarter. I was expecting a lopsided, blowout score this morning. I should root for the 9ers this year, but just not feeling the love. I'm so far removed, for decades from SF that it really means nothing to me. Wouldn't mind seeing a Garopolo/Brady SB though.

Niners are legit and for the Cards to make a game of it is something they can build on. Moral victories do not count on the score sheet but when you are trying to turn a franchise around they are stepping stones.

Both QBs looked pretty solid but the Niners look like they're on a mission. Super Bowl or bust.

Gives me hope the 'Hawks might get something out their 2 games with the 49'ers, a split would be fine.

The Ravens only beat them by six at home, granted the officiating was no help but the Cards looked pretty good. That's why I picked them against the Falcons and Giants and didn't pick the Niners for the survival team.

true but "tons of potential & yet keep losing games" is kinda where the Cards want to be right now

With Josh Gordon, there's nothing they can't do.

Imagine how fitting it would be for the Dolphins to win their first game of the season, against the Jets/Adam Gase.

We're having a good first half. If only the games ended after the second quarter.....
