Josh Gordon gone again. Chiefs grabbed Suggs if he wants to play there.

Josh Gordon could have been one of the all-time greatest wide receivers in NFL history. Instead, 20 years from now, no one will remember him.

Idk...his fire did burn outrageously bright and this litany of suspensions feels pretty unique. But no doubt on that first point.

I was listening to the talking heads on ESPN this morning and apparently Brees didn't get a perfect passer rating despite going 29/30 for 307 yards, 4 TD's and no INT's, presumably because he didn't average more than 12.5 yards per attempt. Whereas you can get a perfect passer rating with only completing 77% of your passes. Sounds like a pretty flawed stat if you can miss 23% of your passes and still be 'perfect'.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Did you see the pass interference on the first touchdown that broke the record and was called off. They intentionally kept the Saints out of the super bowl last year with that no call, but this was a really bad ticky tacky Tom Brady call.

It's obviously a league wide conspiracy that the entire Ravens roster did not make the Pro Bowl team.

Actually, the worse call ever came in a playoff game in the snow. I forget which two teams were playing but it was late in the 4th and one team sacked the QB. He fumbled and they recovered. They would have run out the clock and moved on but the refs called that the QB was in the process of tucking the ball away when he fumbled so it was not a fumble. They retained possession, kicked a game tying field goal and eventually won the game. Nobody had ever even heard of this rule before and it had surely never been enforced. They kept it around for a couple of seasons to make it look legit, then scrapped it. THAT...was the worse call ever.

And if you watch the play the defender knocks the ball out of his hand, which negates the tuck rule.

Gonna watch that Bills/Pat's game tomorrow. I'll be rooting for the Bills with the rest of America. I'm sick of the Pats. Fuck 'em.

Thanks for mentioning that. My magnetic schedule attached to the lamp next to my chair says the game is Sunday.

It's been a "low scoring, defensive struggle" so far. I love it.
