    same here

    Football is my only sport
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

Don't really see any scenario where I do this.

Nope, too many other good sports out there to watch second rate football.

Actually, I've been thinking so much about baseball camps opening up, texting back and forth between my brother and friends about baseball, and reading tea leaves from baseball writers on Twitter...that I had kinda forgotten about the Super Bowl coming up.

I doubt I'll bother with the XFL. Part of the love for football is waiting for the season (and college ball) in the fall. I'd be shocked if the XFL made it passed one season.

I'll check out an XFL game if one is on a major network, I don't have cable. Kind of interested in some of their rule changes. Like no extra point kicks, teams can decide to try a play from the 2 yard line, for 2 points, like the NFL, or, I think, from the 5 yard line for 3 points, or the 10 yard line for 5 points. Could make things interesting. Edit, 4 points, not 5 points

I won't go out of my way for it, but will probably give it a shot if nothing else is on and I don't have anything going on. We have quite a few WMU guys from here in Kalamazoo playing in the league (I think the Dallas team has 4 of them), so that sparks my interest a bit.

It's Super Bowl week. Anyone ready for some football(music)?

Wanted to say more. Didn't. This music rocks.

Your team still have a shot? I've been merely glancing at hockey of late because we're all but eliminated yet again...

Its doubtful. Like others, I might check it out if there's nothing going on or nothing else on TV. Isn't this still a Vince McMahon enterprise?

I'm really rooting for KC. I like this Mahommes kid. I hope he has a long career. But I think the 49ers D and running game might be a bit too much for KC. They can't get behind early to the 49s. Lol. Or it'll be over by halftime.

Been raining here for a few days. Would LOVE to see a rainy, muddy, filthy Superbowl, with turnovers. We'd lose the Superbowl in Miami but f*** it.

It would be easy to assume that I'd pull for the Chiefs instead of the Niners because I'm a Seahawks fan, but I've always admired the Chiefs from afar. Arrowhead Stadium was a state-of-the-art design 30 years ago and is still one of the NFL's great venues. It's fan base one of the best in the NFL. During my periodic travels through Kansas City I always admired the college atmosphere surrounding the Chiefs. And Andy Reid is one of the better stories and this year's Super Bowl.

Matriculate the ball down field, Chiefs!
