we need to get started in the first half
all these late game comebacks are just BS

Wit was mugged on that final 2 point try and no call, but there's no excuse for not getting the offense going earlier in games
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

Seahawks are at 5-1 and Niners are 5-0. Both of those records surprise me. Seattle is beating teams they should beat if they're really as good as their record, but they're scraping by and have been the benefactor of some inglorious officiating. SF's success is coming outta nowhere; their defense is manhandling teams and Garapollo looks like he's figured things out on offense - they're not who I thought they were.

Have to agree, 49ers look for real, Seahawks are who I thought they were but winning close games, Ravens will be tough. Wilson is one of the best players in the NFL this season.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

yeah I'm way more convinced by the 49ers. thought Jimmy G. was another Matt Flynn type at first but I definitely think he's for real now

c'mon now, there were 6 straight flags on the final Cowboys drive yesterday, what is that if not gripping television

Even the Seahawks fan board thought the blindside block flag was garbage.

tonights game should be good...Packers look like they could be one of the NFC's best teams, but they're remarkably inconsistent. meanwhile the Lions are perhaps the league's biggest enigma right now, they look primed to muscle themselves into the NFC North conversation but they've sorta had that "is this team for real?" moment nearly every season Stafford's been around and every time the answer's been "not really"

The Packers need to draft some receivers. So do the Lions.

I will preface this with a couple of big "ifs", but ponder this for a minute....

IF the Broncos beat the Chiefs on Thursday, and IF the Raiders find a way to win in Green Bay, then the Raiders would be in first place in their division....

    I know...right?!

The refs will never let you beat the Packers based on last nights game.

maybe if you can get the replacement refs back

not to Shadow it up but I am not convinced the refs are biased in favor of the Packers. they've clearly got something against the Lions, though.

I was glad to see McFarland talk about "the state of officiating in 2019" during the postgame, and not just about one missed call here or there. Maybe the pressure on the league office will build.

Those are some big IF's Yves, but I'd happily take that outcome!

Officiating is making even the best games less watchable.

But it shouldn't even be a remote possibility at this time of the year, yet there it is... I like what the offense has done the last couple of games and the D is slowly coming around. A-Rod at Lambeau will be a huge test though...

I hear you, I thought they would be 2-3 at best heading into the bye. More realistically, I thought 1-4. Proved me wrong. The next two games will be really tough, @Green Bay and @Houston.

I don't think he would have won if he was from Wooster.

I've been a Packer fan since 1975 (took me 4 years to be assimilated by the Cheez Borg after I moved here in 1971 and away from my lifelong "Big Blue" fandom).

The team that won that game last night wasn't dressed in green, gold, blue or silver. It was dressed in black & white stripes. Pitiful, and while I'll take the W, it should have an asterisk next to it.

Are we sure the NFL didn't sneak some replacement refs in on us?

Ravens just traded for Marcus Peters from the Rams. That should help the secondary against the Seahawks this weekend.
