I have no plans of watching a single down of this league. MacMahon can suck it! I'm taking back my Sundays for the next 7 months. I'll be watching the CFL when it kicks off this summer, but they play on different days of the week inorder to have every game televised.

    I'm with you.

BTW: shouldn't there be an XFL thread?

Been watching XFL again. I can't get used to the gimmicky PATs. It sucks, but I hope they last for at least one season. It's basically unwatchable crap, but it's football.

I think it's better than that. In fact, I know it's relative to the talent level of the QBs & WRs, but within the XFL bubble, the quality of DB/Cornerback play looks better than the NFL. These guys are playing the ball in the air, and doing it well. I've noticed it in several games, not just today.

if nothing else, the XFL will be the farm for the NFL to glean
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

An amateur French soccer player was suspended for five years after he bit an opponent’s penis during a post-match fight in the parking lot, according to Goal.com.

Following SC Terville’s home match against AS Soetrich in November, a “violent confrontation” broke out between the two teams in the locker rooms.

That fight quickly migrated to the parking lot outside the stadium in Terville — which sits just more than 200 miles northeast of Paris near the Luxembourg border. One Terville player then attempted to jump in and separate the two players who were fighting, per the report. That’s when the Soetrich player bit his penis.

The player was rushed to the hospital, where he needed 12 stitches.

The occasional kiwis-related in-the-pile offenses in the NFL pale by comparison.

NFL owners approved the new changes today. Now, off to the Union. These changes include expanding the playoffs by one team in each conference, with only the #1 seed
getting a bye. Making the season 17 games, and cutting preseason games down to 3. I like lengthening the season, and shortening preseason, but am not too crazy about
    adding more playoff teams.

I don't like any of these changes, seems like a total money grab on the part of owners. To me, there's no issue with the number of teams in the playoffs or the number of games on the schedule, so these changes are meaningless and don't address the real issue with the playoffs when division winners with crappy records get in over teams in the conference with better records. Do we seriously need another game where players can get hurt for nothing, or 9-8/8-9 teams in the playoffs? Bug thumbs down from me, which I'm sure has the NFL quaking in their shoes.

The NFL playoffs are pretty much perfect as they are in my opinion. This does not need to happen.
