Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?
NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF STUPID PEOPLE IN LARGE GROUPS!
Wow, Steelers eating $21MM? That's a free player for the Raiders.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

^ That just shows, it's a young man's league.
I think the Raiders low-balled the Steelers. We got a 1st rounder for Cooper but only paid a 3rd and 5th for AB. We signed him to a big contract though. Where was that money when it was time to pay Mack?

A player has to really be a cancer to get that kind of deal. I’m shocked by it because my understanding is The Steelers didn’t have many offers where a team was willing to extend AB.
Something will have to be addressed soon. Between this and the Bell situation, or even Irving retiring himself, there needs to be a check to players and their ability to disrupt the system.

If I owned an NFL team I wouldn't ever offer any multi-year contracts, just one year deals. After the year is up, if you're unhappy, get the f*** out, or sign up for another year if you wanna stay.
And all your decent players would leave after 1 year.

The NBA & MLB players have much better contracts than the NFL players, I'd be going after them long before NFL contracts. It's very tough to have any sympathy for owners.

It's not about sympathy for the owners, it's about players not honoring contracts and holding the teams and fans hostage. It's more difficult for me to have any sympathy for spoiled, millionaire players. It happens in all the big sports leagues. OTOH, a player is worth whatever the owners will pay them.
The Golden Ticket has left Philadelphia.

Also, future Hall of Famer Terrell Suggs has left Baltimore for Arizona. According to sources, Suggs says he would have liked to finish his career with the Ravens, but the opportunity to play for a team that the officials weren't constantly gunning for was too much to resist. "I can't take the heartbreak any more," Suggs reportedly confided to close friends.
