The Vikings pass interference call on review was a joke.

We'll see. That Seahawks secondary is a shell of its former self. They'll make Bridgewater look like Brees next week.

They are all jokes. The referees don't want to reverse their screw ups. There was pass interference in the Ravens and Eagles games that they would not acknowledge.

The Fish continued their fire sale yesterday, trading rising star and former 1st round draft pick Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Stillers for a 1st round pick. They must think Pittsburgh is going to implode without Big Ben. I wouldn't count on that, but otherwise, it makes no sense.

yeah I'm not sure how I feel about stuff like this. hard to argue against "getting it right" but we all know there's a penalty of some kind committed on nearly every play. I'm not sure if I like the direction this is going. It already sucks that the NFL has this vibe where every big play comes with a little bit of nervousness that there's either a flag somewhere or the receiver didn't make enough "football moves" or whatever

btw I'm still fascinated by the way Broncos-Bears ended:

Broncos score TD to go within 1, decide to go for 2 to win the game instead of tying with the XP
Broncos hilariously get a delay of game, backing them up 5 yards, so they decide to go for 1 instead
Broncos kicker then MISSES the XP, but a Bears DL flinched, so it was an offside
This for some reason puts the ball at the 1, where the Broncos go for 2 again, and make it with a short pass
Bears get the ball with :31 and 1 TO, a situation which should be hopeless for them...
...BUT, a Broncos linebacker gets flagged for roughing the passer, despite the fact when he left his feet the ball was still in Mitch's hands, giving him no way to stop himself (this is the same sort of call that plagued Clay Matthews last season)
As a result, Bears can get within FG range with about 20 yards (after getting a 12 men in the huddle penalty). They complete the pass, but there's only 9 seconds left, and it's right in the middle of the field...
Time seems to expire, BUT!! Refs rule that someone (Trubisky?) called timeout as the receiver was going down, leaving barely a second on the clock
Bears attempt a long FG, and actually nail it. Bears win. Home crowd walks away stunned.

just trying to imagine someone who doesn't know a thing about football watching this. what a strange game.

Once again, Pittsburgh overpays for a player. Depending on how Rudolph plays, the first round pick they gave away could very well be a top ten next year.

Just saw that this week is the first in 32 years where there are multiple 20+ point spreads.
New England is 22.5 over the Jets, and Dallas is 21.5 over Miami

That's what Miami is counting on. However, I think Rudolph is better than that. If Miami picks anywhere close to where Pittsburgh normally picks, then Pittsburgh got a bargain.

Chiefs are getting 6.5 over the Ravens, who beat the Ravens last year by three because the refs pulled a Patriots non call at the end of the game. This year Lamar can throw the ball, Ravens have a burner at receiver, better running back, best tight end trio in the league, and Earl Thomas over Eric Weddle. Chiefs won't have Tyrek Hill and lost Hunt at running back. Unless the Ravens have a total brain fart on defense I can't see them losing this game.

You haven't accounted for the refs.

That's what cost them last year, and they are playing at Arrowhead again this year. That's not right.

AFAIC Weasey, they're not the worst 2-0 team in the NFL right now. That team is only 130 miles north of me.
