    Lykantropi

For those of you who liked the debut album from Lykantropi, the follow up Spirituosa will be available soon. Release party soon, at which I will drink and dance. Album artwork by a very talented friend of mine Emil.

Kadavar have a similar sound to Lykantropi.

You surprised me with these. The names had me thinking Metal, but this is pretty retro early 70s styled Heavy Rock. I wouldn't seek out the Kadavar, but the Lykantropi has enough hazy shimmer added to the heavy rock, and the female vocals are a nice touch. I'll definitely investigate further and likely pick up that disc. Thanks.

Just curious: how are you affiliated with this band?

Yea, kind of round the edges of hard rock and metal but firmly in an early 70s, bluesy hard rock, Jefferson Airplane, Jethro Tull zone.

Lykantropi. Sounds straight from 1971 to my ears!

Here is the opening track on the debut, it also happens to be my favourite on the debut. What I especially like about this is that it opens with the type of Swedish forest road that I regularly use.
