    1979 Fripp interview now online

Sorry if this was already posted (I looked, didn't find)

unedited interview from the 'Boffamundo' show. (Which I never heard of until recently, but the hosts were total prog geeks)

I am struck by how much he looks like Sheldon from Big Bang Theory
Brian Dennehy: "I'm now 80 and I'm just another actor and that's fine with me. I've had a hell of a ride," ... "I have a nice house. I haven't got a palace, a mansion, but a pretty nice, comfortable home. I've raised a bunch of kids and sent them all to school, and they're all doing well. All the people that are close to me are reasonably healthy and happy. Listen, that's as much as anybody can hope for in life."

This interview was also transcribed and turned into a book albeit a thin one. "Robert Fripp: The Boffomundo Interview 1979" by Ron Curtiss. A used copy recently came into the record shop where I work and I snapped it up.

Pah. Sheldon's a wooly-minded underachieving slacker by comparison.

    He is just so Frippy!

I just love the fact that this dude has had a career in rock'n'roll. How marvelous and odd this world is.
Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world.
