I will humbly note that the 6/12 show which will also feature a short opening set by the brand new band Monstrika featuring members of MoeTar (me and Matthew) and Secret Chiefs 3 (me). We're dark and heavy. I'm playing bass.

Some may remember that I played bass in miRthkon at the same CalProg including District 97... So our paths cross again!

    - Matt

If you're reading this, it's almost certainly on a screen of some sort. Thus, this seems like a fitting opportunity to tell you our new album is called...Screens. It will be out worldwide this Fall, however, you can get it months early on our Pre-Screening Tour (dates and tickets at http://www.district97.net/shows), starting two weeks from today on 5/14 near Detroit! Check out this trailer for an idea of what to expect and for a first glimpse at the album cover:

We'll be playing with some unbelievable artists, such as Marillion (5/17 in Montreal), Tony Macalpine (5/29 in Chicago and 5/30 in Sturtevant, WI) and EchoTest w/Julie Slick (all June PNW dates).

Who's coming out to get Pre-Screened?

Is anyone here going to the Toronto show?

-UK/Europe, we and Screens are coming to you this Fall! See dates and ticket links at the above link, including for newly announced shows in Berlin on 30/9 (my birthday!) and London on 9/10.

To get an idea of what to expect of our live show, here's a recent video of Snow Country from Montreal:

-INSIDE THE VAULT CLUB #32 (coming to members on 6/15) will feature more exclusive audio/video of a new song from this same show, so join http://www.district97.net/insidethevaultclub before then so you don't miss out. The Septennial: Return To RoSfest DVD/HD Download is still available to Keyholders, but we're now down to the final copies of this limited-edition release.

What PE folks are we gonna see over this next week?

If you'd like a signed, advance copy of our upcoming release SCREENS (due 9/27 via Cherry Red), you can get that now at at http://district97.net/store/signed-s...dseptennial-cd. Additionally, we have a few copies left of the Screens 5.1/hi-res stereo DVD and Septennial: Return to Rosfest live CD also available.

If you'd like to stretch your buck farther, you can join http://www.district97.net/insidethevaultclub on a yearly plan at any level by 8/30 and you can pick one of these items as a free bonus. This is a prime time to join, as on top of the bonuses, Keyholders will also receive one of the final 17 remaining copies of the Septennial: Return To RoSfest DVD. Join by tomorrow 8/15 and you'll also get IVC #34: On Paper (Live in Louisville 9-2-14). Here's a preview:

I enjoy very much this band but I can't afford to subscribe to this business model, because I would have to pay a monthly subscription for the hundreds of bands I like...

Sure, that sounds overwhelming, both financially and emotionally, since you end up having a higher relationship with the band. My suggestion is to pick a few bands that really hit you and go that route. You will treasure those increased connections,.

I agree this is a great philosophy. I'd also like to point out a couple things:

-All of our albums (including Screens starting 9/27) can be purchased/streamed in the usual locations without a subscription.

-Our subscription service can be joined for as little as $4.99/month (so about one latte at Starbucks) at http://www.district97.net/insidethevaultclub

It is a great experience for both the band and subscribers alike, and if you really like what we do, you have the satisfaction of knowing you're directly contribute to allowing us to continue.

Hi there District 97 - A few months ago I posted a note suggesting that District 97 was a great candidate to play at the next Progstock 2020 and on that same thread you replied that my wish had become true and that in fact, District 97 is going to play there next October 2020.

Well, that's really cool but sometime your mind can play tricks on you because recently going through my digital images that I took at the Marillion weekend in Montreal last May 2019 I noticed that I had already seen you guys! And actually was very pleased with your opening show. I noticed it by the album artwork on your drum kit and Leslie Hunt singing, aha!
Could you post a video of that show in Montreal?

Hope to see you again in October and maybe some other dates this year in North america (Canada?)
    Cheers,
