Progrock.com Presents a free private concert in Chicago - Karibow 10/5 First US Show

Check out this amazing band from Germany. We are happy to fly this band in for what should be an amazing show with maybe a surprise for the Karibow fans.

Rayna and I saw them in Rüsselsheim and it was wonderful.

Ear protection recommend as they will be Prog Rocking the House

    Contact me for invite.

I think Karibow is excellent, while not heavy Prog, Oliver Rusing is a great musician songwriter with a great voice. His last several albums have included guest musicians Sean Timms from Unitopia and vocalist Michael Sadler who appeared on Holophinium. His most recent release is MonuMENTO another 2 cd album which has guests Michael St Pere from Mystery and John Young from Lifesigns.
I first learned of Karibow when Saga had Karibow open for some of their shows in Europe, this was after Michael had appeared on Holophinium.

I decided to try them out and purchased a album download on Bandcamp of From Here to the Impossible and my wife and I love it. We will be getting more of his catalogue of material but for now we're still enjoying From Here to the IMpossible. I would describe the music as melodic and perhaps a bit softer prog if there is such a thing. Don't expect King Crimson.

I first found out about them because of Mark Trueack who sang on the impossible. Which is really great.

It was a real honor to have Mark and Sean and the guys play the Unitopia songs at our private concert 2 years ago. We were also able to share them with RosFest so 100's of people got to see them together one last time.
