Yeah, I and about five other people will take to the streets... Well, since the whole public transport network is on strike, we'll have to make do with a Skype conference call.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

'The Foul-Tempered Clavier' is now available on Bandcamp!

This 2001 album includes standout collaborations from the team of Steve Kretzmer & Dave Newhouse, along with some of Steve Gore's most accomplished compositions.

From tracks teeming with Canterbury feeling such as 'The White Bloodsheets' & 'Klezmer's Ragu', to tracks that would make Zappa's Synclavier weep ('The Cymbalist' & 'Efrem Cymbalist, Jr.'), and every inconceivable shade in between!

Starting the 'Farewell to 2019' listening session with Thinking Plague - In Extremis. The album that got me interested in the Avant prog music. Still holds up as one of my favourites, such an awesome, crazy, twisted record. Makes me want to kick whatever is in front of me.

Absolutely stellar work; it's very cool to hear Ceccaldi in a more expansive setting than the magnificent, yet Spartan and brutally intense, environment of In Love With. Not that Freaks' music is exactly Perry Como, even so.
