    CC can still pitch well.

    But he has no velocity any more and doesn't have the strength he once did, so he can't pitch consistently well, and can't pitch deep into games when he is pitching well. He's a fine option as a 4th or 5th starter.

    Another one bites the dust. The oft-injured Greg Bird just went on the IL with a left plantar fascia tear. I think they'll finally give up on this guy, considering his crappy start.

    That's 13 in 15 games.

    That's just not a very good lineup.

    Things are looking pretty bad when Luke Voit and his .328 on-base percentage are hitting third.

    I don't think (save for Mike Trout) that there is any other position player in MLB better than Yelich.
