Interviewer of reprobate ne'er-do-well musicians of the long-haired rock n' roll persuasion at: www.velvetthunder.co.uk and former scribe at Classic Rock Society. Only vaguely aware of anything other than music.

Nice that he gives Wyman some respect. I don't think Bill Wyman gets his due.

Great interview, seems like Geddy is doing the rounds, there are a bunch of new interviews appearing on You Tube.

Geddy Lee actually plays more like a rhythm guitar player, which Lifeson needed. He split the signal from his bass to a side amp EQed for frequencies under 80 HZ. It worked for Rush, but there really is no low end in his playing which is actually the job of a bassist. He also used Taurus Pedals to play bass parts because he was never really playing bass in the first place. John Paul Jones in contrast was a bass player, never competing in the mid range. Geddy Lee made the whole thing much more complicated than it needed to be.
another solo album, project or working with Alex would be nice.
but i guess they don't need any money...... yet.
Canadians love to work, but i guess not all of them.
