Heck, some band's classic members run the band from home while a bunch of "new guys" hit the road.

Same deal with me. Saw them in Louisville a couple of Saturdays ago with my wife, who's more of a jazz fan, and she was pretty knocked out and asked lots of questions afterwards. As for the performance, it didn't feel sterile at all; the new guys have a few moves. Platt does a lot of running around and "illustrates' the tunes with various hand gestures and expressions, and Brislin does a lot of boppin' about, along with the 2nd guitarist.

Does anyone know if they have recorded any of these shows or if they are planning to do so? I passed on the Leftoverture CD - would rather have a DVD.

do they have any concert DVDs beside Device Voice Drum?
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

I think Tom would be a perfect fit for just about any band.
Music isn't about chops, or even about talent - it's about sound and the way that sound communicates to people. Mike Keneally
