Riff Raff-original man-1974 Jazz Rock Fusion

    An amazing forgotten ,About gem
Hailing from England ,This group shines so majestic
Playing vinyl version atm ,Thru my headphone amp and dac so beautful.

I love when bands ,Add Flute into jazz and rock
Borderlines pushes Folk into mix ,But does not quite go all way there.
final stable lineup ,have amazing greats in mix.
One sticks out most to me ,Is Brazilian Aureo De Souza the drummer .Who played in Brazilian Nucleus.

Excellent record to spin ,More on rare side .As it not one i see discussed much.
Never mind hear about ,The band in general either.
Since I became vinyl junkie of recent ,This is good piece own on Vinyl just saying.

Vocals are top notch also ,For this having vocals to .
It borderlines prog and jazz and blues at same time.
While remaining in fusion category ,For blend it does.

Love that album, especially the symphonic approach in the title-track.
My stand-out musician is Tommy Eyre on keyboards, string synths and vocal.
Got both the original RCA-LP and a CD-re-issue.

Thanks for this post. Did not know about them but the added link sounds great.
I found mini LP CDs of the first 2 and bought them!

very good two albums, though their second & last is the better one, their posthumous release is also quite fine
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.

Great band, with a bunch of musicians involved in that whole British rock-jazz clique... I recall reading that Tommy Eyre had the record for most different bands playing at Glatonsbury.... I think it was around seven. The album Outside Looking In was recorded in 1969 with a different lineup and featuring Alan Marshall as singer but was shelved when both Eyre and bassist Roger Sutton joined Mark Almond and that band took off commercially, and went unreleased until the nineties.

My guess the mini LP CD's are from Big Pink from S. Korea.
