    Very sad news.

Does it matter that this waste of time is what makes a life for you?

Why are you not a GD fan? It's weird that I just finished FFH and was in the middle of Drama when I saw this thread. So sorry to hear about Geoff's daughter. I hope he will go on with the tour. Btw, I dedicate tonight's listening experience to Geoff and his daughter. His is my second favorite Yes keyboardist after Rick, and I am glad that he is back with the band.

He has said that he is keeping to all professional engagements, which in this case means he is or will be shortly rehearsing with the band prior to their tour starting on 1 March.

Very sad and unfortunate news -- losing a child has to be one of the most difficult things that can happen to any parent. I wish Geoff all the best and hope he and his family seek out the resources available to help heal and deal with this tragedy. Moving on from something so devastating can be difficult to say the least...my sincere condolences.

I was stunned when I read of this yesterday. My deepest sympathies go to Geoff and his family during this difficult time. Faith manages.

My condolences and prayers to Geoff and his family. Having 4 munchkins of my own, I cannot imagine the ache in his heart, and the hole in his life.

Really awful news, may she rest in peace.

I shot over to Geoff's Twitter page, but he's (understandably) silent.

One of his last posts (tweets) made me smile though...

I've used one in the past, but am amazed by Prog Rock's obsession with the Mellotron. Tbh, it's a god-awful sound, akin to a bacon-slicer!

Ugh. Horrible news. My heart goes out to Geoff, one of the nicest guys in the biz for sure. This is unfathomable

PS : as far as fan of his/not fan of his...Wow, is this the time to point that out? I'm amazed what people type out without self-editing. How about focusing for 5 seconds just on his loss..

Yes I have to say I agree with this last point well made. Surely we can just reflect on geoffs tragic loss and leave it at that .

Wishing someone peace is "delusional nonsense?"

Dude, this isn't the place to be judging other peoples' faith.

How tolerant of you, to attack a man's religion when he's offering condolences.

i'm not attacking geoff. i am saying that promises of life after death and bible quotes are not comforting but the complete opposite. let the man feel his grief, support him, but don't foist delusional nonsense on him.
