See XTC (almost) LIVE via TC&I

Colin and Terry are back on stage after decades, playing some of Colin's best XTC tunes and some new stuff too! Please come to the US!

I would be shocked if they came to the States but I would go no matter where it was. would seriously consider going to England for it if one happened at a good time too...

I am hoping that Andy, Dave, Barry, and Prairie Prince will form XXTC and we can argue about who is the true XTC.

Andy would obviously never do it, and Dave I think has a better gig with BBT right now. But, still, somebody needs to tour as XXTC! It's too great a name not to use.

Looking at the setlist, are those really *all* Colin's songs? If so he had a far greater role in XTC composition than I had appreciated.

As far as I can see, all but one. From what I read on another forum he announced that "Statue of Liberty" was "a tribute to Mr. P." or something similar.

Some good ones in there. 'Cynical Days', 'King For A Day' and 'Bungalow' are all among my favorites. I'd hoped for 'I Remember The Sun' since they're focusing on Colin's songs. (probably hard for him to try to sing Andy's). I was a little disappointed with the TCI EP. 'Scatter Me' is kinda cool, the others don't have the magic for me that his songs typically did in his years with XTC.

Wow. Strange but true the Barns of Wolf Trap have an XTC tribute band booked for April.
Not many of those around, I would guess.
Wouldn't it be nice if it was this show in disguise.

Nostalgia, you know, ain't what it used to be. Furthermore, they tells me, it never was.

Hmmm, I sorta agree about the "magic" comment if only because Moulding's songs during XTC's days were so magical, but I thoroughly enjoy the EP. It's well worth picking up. Hopefully it's an indication of things to come. I'd certainly welcome a full album in the future.

I was just so glad to see Colin Moulding returning to the music world, but had no idea he would be playing music live again! That's just so great.

Really nice to have Terry Chambers back too.

They did. This album is to celebrate the few shows they did do.
