    Willie McCovey: Giants legend dead at 80

    The Hall Of Fame baseball legend died today (31 Oct) at Stanford hospital, California. Rest in peace.

    Long before exit-velo and launch angle became a part of the language of baseball, you had the likes of McCovey, Mantle, Killebrew, Howard, Strawberry and Fielder. They just hit the ball very hard and very far. No corner infielder dared play in on them. RIP, Stretch
