It's fine here. BUT, I believe Martin said the second set is being streamed tomorrow night. Live? I dunno. Anyhow, a wealth of livestreaming prog.

To get the Soft Machine stream to work, go to https://theiridium.com/live/ then I think click on the picture of Soft Machine and in the bottom right corner there are some icons - click on the one that looks like a little array of squares. For some stupid reason that's how you start the stream playing.

Watching Soft Machine now... Thanks for mentioning it, arturs, I'd forgotten. Who needs to go out for live music!

Man, THIS is the band to see IMO.

Here you go. Pretty amazing set - I only was able to watch part of it last night, I missed the best stuff. I'm going to be checking Dime for one of these shows...

Thx for pointing to this livestreaming Fri night. Tuned into it but then other things took over for a while, esp. after not recognizing 2-3 songs in a row, and then planned to come back at the end where familiar songs would typically be, but then turned out I didn't because noticed he's scheduled for next day (Sat) too. But couldn't make it to Sat. I'll just look for re-runs/ youtube clips / similar, and may or may not find them and it's fine either way.Thx.

It was a little confusing - they only streamed the first set Friday, then maybe the whoie show Saturday but I thought it was only the second set. Anyway, Dimeadozen.org has a show from Old Saybrook, CT from 10/7, similar set. And maybe the shows from this weekend will show up on there as well.

I could've seen them last month but I didn't get there. This has been one of the better years for concerts in my area and I'm short on disposable income. I hope they come back.

    Der Spargel is gut!

I actually met Fritz while I was still young as he knew my father.

That was just a quote from Martin from the first set. I don't know why
he felt like speaking some German.

I wasn't sure if you were aware of the Frank Zappa song "Shall We Take Ourselves Seriously" about the time Fritz Rau threw a tantrum because he didn't get any of the Spargel from the catering.
