    Interesting article - many thanks for posting. I never had AL down as an 'acoustic monster' in the vein of Hedges/Bensusan/Giltrap/Emmanuel/Kottke et al., but there's no doubt he's done some interesting acoustic stuff over the years that deserves greater recognition. The intro to 'A Farewell to Kings,' for example, is a really nice bit of classical playing, and it's certainly fascinating to learn more about how it was actually recorded.

    He's not quite in that neighborhood, but he visits once in a while.
