RIP Hardy Fox (The Residents?)

Hardy Fox, rumored to be a member of The Residents, has passed away at age 73. I saw The Residents once (their 13th anniversary tour). I guess he was probably there?

The Residents were a fun part of my college years, and a mysterious collective that inspired creativity and weirdness among me and my friends. Much appreciated! Will have to spin “Eskimo” again soon. That’s some crazy, inspiring work in so many ways.

I hope it's not true and him just having a lark on his site. I know in a recent announcement for the "Rilla" release he made references to having a particular health issue perhaps brain related but that the docs had him on meds. I hope to chalk this up to a Resident just being Residential.

That's possible - it's a little confusing. I guess we should wait to get some kind of definite news. From someone other than him.

Thanks for the further info, Jerol. If anyone hasn’t listened to that audio of Penn Jilette locked in a hotel room listening to the Ralph Records catalog, this is probably as good a time as any. It’s a hilarious tribute to all our love of bizarre music. I can’t find the link now, but I’m pretty sure it’s out there.
