Cannot wait to hear In Continuum also.
Thank you! In Continuum is coming out great! Really happy with how it. So curious how people will react to it after all this effort and everything these songs have gone through for the past 3 years or more in some cases. To hear them executed with Marco and NDV behind the kit is really something beyond my wildest prog dreams! I was never unhappy with the drumming of the other guys I've played with. They're all truly fantastic and I love them as people and players. If anything, when they hear masters like Marco and Nick they probably push themselves even harder (just as I did when I played keyboards with Kevin Gilbert knowing that he was as good or better on keys himself at the time).

Dave I already know In Continuum will be awesome. After all the years your hard work, creativity and drive are paying off. All those life experiences have come together and your love of music and sharing it are in full fruition. I was worried New World would be one of those first album things where you put everything you've written into one big successful package, but you've proven you have a deep well of creativity and talent that just keeps going on.
I couldn't be happier for you Dave, plus we get the benefit of new releases of a whole lot of great music.

Thanks. If you liked Dimensionaut and New World I think you may like the new In Continuum album as it's very much in that stylistic territory. Other abums like "Static" and various solo albums and other projects will go in other areas stylistically but the same sort of "drive" to reach for a certain quality I personally like in the songwriting, performances and production is there in pretty much everything, as long as it's up to me.

Yes, that's what I liked about Static, the diverse approach in the arrangements, production and writing. I was afraid it would turn out to be New World II which it isn't, but with a couple of songs or melodies giving a nod to that album.
You balanced the need by the listener for just enough continuity while going in a different direction.

Did you know Rosfest has moved to Sarasota? about a 45 mile drive away from where we live, and if somehow you could play Rosfest, it would be an auto-buy for my wife and I(she's as big a fan as I am).

Have fun at Prog Stock, say hi to Michael Sadler if you get the chance.

I think each album has a connection to previous albums and offers something new. That's how I like to do it. I also work on music I'm excited about and never do it just to do it. There are no label obligations to fill or any need to do anything that's contrived or subpar. If it ever got to that point I'd probably just stop or do something else.

Yeah I know ROSfest moved down in my neck of the woods. Still waiting for the invite! But, for me, it doesn't get much better than Cruise To The Edge and the ProgStock Festival. If all festivals were run like these two boy that would be something! They take such good care of the artists it's such a pleasure. Can't wait to play next week!

Squids, I wondered how you chose the tracks to cover for the Yes tribute?

That Downes/Hughes album may not have been your wisest purchase of the year.

$7 isn't really a purchase, now is it, Henry? ;-)

OK, for $7 you can't be too disappointed.
