    Progressive Rockers who were/are Masons

I know Rick Wakeman is one.

(if you're reading this Rick, please convince them to invest deeply in cryptocurrency).

Now why would anyone ask that? That's like asking how many prog rockers were named Anderson.

(I hate playing straight man for these lame jokes).

Or named Ian, or Roger, or James!

Was Wakeman really a Freemason? Any Rosicrucians?

Masons? Never heard of them? Even if I had, I don't know any. And if I do know any, none of them are musicians. And if some of them are musicians, none of them are progressive rockers. And if any of them are progressive rockers none of them played with the Who. And if any of them played with the Who, none of them played bass for the Who. That I know of.

Really? Did he believe in Atlantis?

I'm convinced! I love how you should mail the coupon to Scribe Q. R. K.

^^^ Now I know where a lot of Bill Nelson's lyrical imagery comes from. "The Memory of an Atom" could easily be one of his album titles.

"Well, that's the kind of blinkered philistine attitude I've come to expect from you noncreative garbage. You sit there on your spotty behinds, squeezing blackheads, and you don't give a tinker's damn for the struggling artist, do you you excrement? You hypocritical toadies with your Tony Jacklin golf clubs and your bleedin' secret Masonic handshakes! You wouldn't let me be a Mason, would you, you blackballing bastards! Well, I wouldn't be a Mason now if you got down on your lousy stinking knees and begged me!"

"We're sorry you feel that way, but we were expecting a block of flats, not an abattoir."

"Oh, shove the abattoir. I'd _love_ to be a Mason. Masonry opens doors..."

I've laid some block in the past, does that make me a mason.

    are Masons the "illuminati"?
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

No, I think the Illuminati are highly intellectual power brokers bent on world domination. Like Beyonce. And maybe Pauly Shore.

I can't believe this thread hasn't been shut down. It's clearly in violation of the no-religion rule! While the Freemasons claim not to be a religion, they apparently require that members believe in God.

    You are Donald Trump AICMFP.

Those Pink Floyd chappies have some previous experience, they might be able to help.
