Yes. The first leg of the tour was excellent.
Are these cities he skipped last time, or are the type of venues different? Other than Vancouver and WA there's no west coast dates, but since it ends in Texas I could easily see the itinerary adding stops throughout the western US. And then they can pop back to Mexico, South America, etc. Hey, why ever stop touring?!

So is the one here. I figured his audience was growing, not shrinking. So that's odd. Unless his dreams of becoming a pop star at 50 off "Permenating" backfired and he just managed to alienate a chunk of his loyal prog fan base. The people that made him successful in the first place.

I wonder if he's making good on his promise to play only SRO venues. It appears he's hitting towns he didn't play the first go round. For example, no Chicago/Mil, really only Nashville close to the Midwest.
The venue here is seated, save for the area down front. Not to say they couldn't stand up all night in front of their chairs though....
Boston House Of Blues is a large all standing venue, I'd be very surprised if he filled it.

The Fillmore in Philly is mostly standing room I think, but can be converted to seated as well.
It's also double the capacity of the Keswick (1300 vs 2500), so despite the bitter proggers' wishes, it looks like he's playing some bigger venues.
I won't stand. I'm 56 for Christ's sake (lol). The Montreal show last May had seated balcony seats that were great.

I think this is intentionally a tour of smaller venues. He's played the Playstation Theater in NYC several times and usually seems to fill it (capacity 2100). This time, as I mentioned, he's instead playing at the Capitol Theater in Portchester. It's a smaller, older venue, but the floor is standing. Actually, I see the Capitol isn't that much smaller (1800), but it seems like it is.
I really don't think he alienated anyone except for some extremely thin-skinned people.
It's mostly standing, but there are seats:
We had second row of the VIP section tix for Tangerine Dream a few years back, and you basically had to get out of your seat to see the front part of the stage.
If I can't get seated tickets or they're too expensive, we'll give this one a pass. I thought the Bone tour somehow wasn't as good as the previous three tours anyway even though I can put my finger on why, exactly.

Boston HOB is about twice the capacity of Berklee, where I saw him in April.
