I pretty much like it. That said, if this was on Heaven on Earth I’m guessing it would be considered the worst dreck ever conceived!
While "Fragile" has a similar tempo and lyrical themes to Heaven & Earth, it is musically distinct in style. H&E, be it better or worse, is full of quirky instrumental work typical of Yes. Often over mediocre songs, but nonetheless when it's bad, it is bad in a distinctly Yessy way. "Fragile" has a quite different sound, with an entirely different rhythm section approach for starters.

Thanks for posting this.
I noticed Trevor said he was quite happy with using the name ARW but fans and MANAGEMENT talked them into using the word YES.
I certainly wouldn't let the anti-Yes fans dictate what name I use.

I don't think "Fragile" has a similar tempo to H&E. I listened to "Ascend" and "Light of the Ages" (against my better judgement) because I read someone saying how much he liked them so tried yet one more time. They start out OK but by the middle of each song I had to force myself to listen to the end because of the plodding tempos.
Edit: Deleting the quote I was replying to, since the poster deleted it while I was replying, but might as well leave this here:

I have always loved the blending of Anderson, Rabin, and Squire vocally. When they spent the time to arrange their parts it was mighty impressive.

I don't hate it. The way I hate pretty much all of the YesWest 80's output. Would I shell out money for it? Would have to hear a whole album first...

Okay. I officially love "Fragile." Really good song. Now I'm wanting an ARW album to happen (although it probably won't.)
Yes (Official) needs to take note. The bar has been set fairly high.

As much as I hope ARW releases an album of excellent songs, I find I like Fragile more and more if I don't force myself to try and like it cause it's new, and just relax and listen to it without prejudice.
I don't think Yes (Official) has anything to worry about, their 50th tour was by all reviews a terrific success. I do hope they strike while the iron is hot, and now that Jon is more secure in his position as a member and lead vocalist, to get into the studio and do a new album.

It has been funny how many thiought ARW will never release any music despite them hinting over the past two years where they were at and at times explaining delays. For example, Trevor Rabin said something like: "The song needed something more after listing through my MP3 player". Now that there is a song out there, people are saying there won't be anything more. Bunch of Debbie downers!
Wakeman says they will put out an EP while Anderson says an LP early next year. Anderson don't lie!
Just to be clear, ARW still hasn't officially released any new music yet.
