    The Stooges.....No Fun.
About 2 minutes ago. It is Fun. It's phsychedlic, stoned out, knuckleheaded, garage, proto-Metal.

It is pretty amazing. My all time favorite Oldfield is actually Tubular Bells 2003-so much heart and much clearer and cleaner than the original, but 'Amarok' is certainly his most dynamic, even full of humor. Back in the day we used to have Amarok parties, where we would have a group over, turn out the lights, and crank the entire thing without anyone saying a word.

I was thinking of the excellent combo from Spain ... Amarok, named after the Eskimo word for 'wolf' !

I saw Queen 3 times back in the 70s. This takes me back.

Great record. They are similar to Broken Social Scene.

Bookish Canadian Indie Rock with lots of proggy touches.
