^^ Come on, you guys, everyone in the Prog community knows who Adele is - you’ll see her manning the Progdocs table at ProgDay. Have you been living under a rock?

Sounds good. I'll attend. I enjoyed Adele's showing of RWIII at ProgDay 2 or 3 years ago. Popcorn courtesy of Rich (Progholio).

Looking forward to my day in court.

^ No, be nice. Jed's saying he wouldn't mind having a rich daughter to lend a hand.

Little disappointed that bands like Embryo or AD2 won't get featured, though.

Guess it depends who they can interview, AD2 is certainly a gap.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

So is Embryo and Popol Vuh, FTM . Furthermore, I think all 30are Munich-based bands, among with Out Of Focus, a city which was more a hippie scene

My guess is that they're going to concentrate on the Berlin and Koln-Ruhrgebiet scenes, but that would mean that they overlook Tangerine, Agitation Free, Ash Ra and Schulze as well.

From what I can tell at this point, they're mostly going for the Kraftwerk/Neu/Cluster/Harmonia/La Düsseldorf route with Can as a starting point. But that's kind of reducing "Krautrock" to a single dimension.

There's a lot of Krautrock documentaries out there, mostly auf Deutsch. But Jose and Adele have a very exciting and exhaustive list of guests, including quite a few that haven't been interviewed in recent years. Very excited about this!

Oh yeah, I'm certainly excited for it, it's autobuy for me. It would probably have to be 24 hours long to be exhaustive and exhausting.

Genau! When interviewing for my book, I found the Germans the easiest to interview because a) they mostly speak English, and b) they were genuinely happy to do it. You can't get everyone, but I'm sure this will have surprises!

This is Part 1 Ian. Amon Düül II, Embryo, Popov Vuh, Guru Guru and many other legendary bands are covered in Part 2, a second movie to be released next year. Check the complete list at www.progdocs.com/rw-iv/
