I saw that performance when it aired. Gretchen sounds (and looks) good, but she strains to hit some of those notes. Shows you what a powerhouse Ann is.

May 14th is the release date of the new CD. Has anyone seen the cover for this? Looks scary.

sure thing! she's too thin for me, and travels too much. Jerjo said "That Gretchen Wilson.....she is just wasted doing crappy country pop. But I suppose, that's where the money is." and I said there are millions of people that like that stuff (country pop music). I'm married to one of them. When we alternate music in the care, there are some really weird juxtapositions. SRV CD>country pop radio>Bob Dylan CD>Mumford & Sons CD>George Thorogood CD>country pop radio, etc.

If the 60-90$ price range is "21st century", the century is a decade behind...

I just saw Alice In Chains perform their new single, Stone, on Jimmy Kimmel Live. WTF happened to Jerry's hair?

I remember when I saw the Man In A Box video for the first time, the dark slow paced atmosphere of the song grabbed me right away, but I wasn't that much into the grunge stuff back in the 90's, it took me almost a decade to start appreciating bands like Nirvana, PJ, Blind Melon and AiC, I just got second hand copies of the live and unplugged albums by them, I'm gonna check out the latest two, since I've heard only positive stuff about them.

As been said many times before(even by people on PE), AiC was more metal than grunge.

If the rest of the CD is that good, I'll be a happy camper.

Jerry kinda reminded me of a kid I went to school with, and also one of my cousins.

According to an article in Classic Rock, Layne Staley's mother is suing the band for unpaid royalties.

Ah, no. I think that it has something to do with evolution and religion.

Check this out!! This song is amazing! I just checked Target's online ad, and they have it for $9.99. So, I guess I'll be walking to Target after work on Tuesday.

    Very melodic, but still great.
