7500 (2020). "When terrorists try to seize control of a Berlin to Paris flight, a soft-spoken young American co-pilot (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) struggles to save the lives of the passengers and crew while forging a surprising connection with one of the hijackers." Gordon-Levitt does his usual excellent job but the movie wasn't all that. I'll give it a B+ rather than a B due to my interest in aviation.
I saw a move recently with Joseph. I unfortunately can't remember the title but this story is about the main character who is in an accident and suffers a brain injurity. Jeff Daniels is his roomate who is blind. It's an action movie surrounding a bank robbery. Not the most original or best movie but Joseph's acting (and Jeff's) drew me right in. If anyone know the title, let me know! I really enjoyed it.
What can this strange device be? When I touch it, it brings forth a sound (2112)

    Limitless*
    Time Lapse*

    Anon (Netflix original)
    Under the Skin

I just checked and none of the Netflix originals I mentioned are available thru their DVD plan. I guess they want you to sign up for their streaming service. Speaking of which, if you're already signed up for one, shouldn't they offer the other for a discount?
I had the 1 month trial of the streaming service and ran out of interesting things to watch before the month was up!
The DVD selection is infinitely better, especially for a 30s-50s Noir lover like myself. But they should definitely offer a discount for people who want both.

The first 3 movies I quoted from your list are all very good and I have a whole bunch more of those saved in my queue to watch soon.

The last 2 I quoted are just soft-porn IMO. If I were a pubescent teen Anon would have tweaked my senses but as an adult I found it cheap. Under the Skin was even worse with the constant sausage fest going on. I find ScarJo attractive with clothes on. I didn't really need to see her naked. The movie amounts to mere gratuitous exploitation with zero dialog.
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

The Lookout, 2007. I remember watching it and being a little bored by it, but as you say Levitt was good in the role.
I only clicked on it because I thought it was going to be something more interesting...

    Body Heat (1981)

A Blu Ray re watch of my favorite noir pic.

Mickey Rourke's small part as the arsonist was perfect. He was so great in the 80s.

I thought that was a pretty good movie (The Lookout). And, yeah, JGL was great in it.

The Old Guard. On Netflix. If you like action movies, especially with Charlize Theron, see this. I really enjoyed it.

The Cabin In The Woods on Prime. Perhaps a candidate for stupidest movie ever. How hard up was Sigourney Weaver to do a cameo in this schlock? Chris Hemsworth gets a pass, as he was young. Anyway, the plot is basically 5 young people in an RV go to a cabin in the woods and encounter murderous zombies. The twist is that the whole thing is orchestrated by a high tech cabal that sacrifices people to supernatural forces to keep the old gods at bay. If you're wondering if it's as stupid as it sounds, it is. Attractive babes notwithstanding, this is fucking rubbish.

Don't watch and send $5 to my favorite charity in lieu of gifts.

I have to take an opposite position on The Cabin in the Woods. It's a meta-horror film, a commentary on spam-in-a-cabin style movies. And it's funny as all get-out.

Yeah, I laughed my ass off at Cabin in the Woods. It mocks every tired trope in the genre. "I am never going to see a merman, ever."

Different strokes. Despite obvious lifts from Evil Dead and Hellraiser, I didn't laugh once, so it didn't work for me on that level. Which leaves the drama/plot...

What was your take on Tucker & Dale vs Evil?

Come and See--kind of a depressing movie overall. It's was a first time viewing so a lot to unpack and think about. It was about WWII from the perspective of the Russians. Probably not one of my favorite war movies (if there's such a thing or that's the right words) that would probably be Apocalypse Now or Platoon or perhaps something I'm forgetting. However, I'll probably give parts of it a rewatch before returning the disc.

Tucker and Dale go up to their vacation cabin in the woods. Through a couple of mishaps these college kids mistake them for your basic deranged psychobillies. The body count escalates. Hilarity ensues.

The good news is that there might be a sequel in the not too distant future.

This looks funny, but also looks like it's trying to be a comedy.

Re: Tucker & Dale vs Evil. I saw it was on Netflix a long time ago and had absolutely zero interest in it. Just watched the trailer and immediately put it on my watch list.

I guess it's true what they say: you can't judge a book by its cover.

Never Look Away (2018) - an artist who grew up in WWII East Germany and the Soviet regime that followed, escapes to the west but remains haunted by experiences of his youth. This movie is about three and a quarter hours, yet not boring in the least. German language.

Equalizer II , not as good as I
Tucker And Dale VS Evil. Funny. Thanks to whomever brought it up, doubt I would have found on my own.
