Papillon is playing on cable currently. Papillon is to me as Towering Inferno is to Klonk. Its a little slow in some spots but still holds up.
I didn't know that. You wouldn't know it by the movie, however, as James Coburn was about the only one that mimicked a Brit accent, and he didn't always do it. Actually there was no Virgil Hilts (Steve McQueen and motorcycle) either.
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

and Psycho.
I liked the original Papillion, and like many of the remakes see no reason to remake it. The actors that they picked for the remake don't look very convincing to me and have a "modern-ish" look to them. Whereas Hoffman looked dirty and pretty authentic, which is my problem with some of the newer westerns too.
