Herbie Hancock - 2 LP 45 RPM (Headhunters)

Herbie Hancock's masterpiece, now cut at 45 RPM!

The second highest-selling jazz album of all time!

Mastered at Sterling Sound by Ryan K. Smith

Double LP 200-gram discs plated and pressed at Quality Record Pressings!

Stoughton Printing old-style deluxe film lamination tip-on jacket

I know a little pricey but I took the plunge. Anyone has this to give a review of the sound???

It's also not the highest selling jazz album of all time; that would be Miles Davis' Kind of Blue, the jazz album that even jazz fans will often have in their collections.

Here's the list of the best-selling jazz albums of all time, from the RIAA. Lots of platinum and gold, but only one multiple platinum: Kind of Blue.

    interesting... that's gonna sound awesome!
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

you still wont admit that high quality vinyl sounds way better than CDs... you *know* it but you wont admit it

Why would it sound better at 45 rpm than at 33 1/3 rpm?

Is it because: the faster we go, the rounder we get?
We're trying to build a monument to show that we were here
It won't be visible through the air
And there won't be any shade to cool the monument to prove that we were here. - Gene Parsons, 1973
