Depending on your mood, you may consider Shearwater. They're definitely art-rock, but very introspective and brooding, a sort of modern Talk Talk.*

And by all means don't forget about Hogarth-era Marillion. Some great art pop to be mined amongst the sprawling, (s)weeping prog intentions.

    Brendan Byrnes - 'Room Tapes'

    https://brendanbyrnes.bandcamp.com/album/room-tapes

Brendan Byrnes' compositions have an instantly identifiable sound, yet are always intriguing and fresh. The lo-fi production on this release really makes it feel like a hidden treasure dug up from a forgotten warehouse in an alternate universe. "Room Tapes" continues his track record of making some of the best xenharmonic music out there.

I thought they were best mid-period. 'Adhils Arboretum' and 'Satanic Panic in the Attack' especially. A bit overly hyper after that.

    Others I think are great:

    Signals
M Coast (actually Marshmallow Coast, kind of an Of Montreal spinoff, but their album 'Say It In Slang' specifically which is far and above everything else they did)
    Once and Future Band
    The High Llamas
    Stereolab
    The Lennon Claypool Delirium

Yes, 'Baby Lulu' is especially fine.

Yes! I love the section about 2+ minutes in. Such an amazing atmosphere throughout.
If it isn't Krautrock, it's krap.

Adrian Belew's new album, Pop Sided is very cool. Has many Beatles type moments with...you know....Belew's wonderful guitaring and quirklicious delivery.

Thank you Bill. You never know who's missed us because of the plethora of releases each year or for our lack of getting the word out but, from the OP, I figured I'd toot our horn.

She’s not new, having recorded music as far back as the 70s, but Hiroko Taniyama’s still around. She released her latest album, Tsuki ni kiita 11 no monogatari (11 Stories Heard on the Moon) back in 2017:

I think fans of the likes of Kate Bush, Jane Siberry and Sally Oldfield would dig her stuff.

I think Elbow hasn't been mentioned here yet. Singer Guy Garvey even described their music as "Prog without the solos".

I like it! Some cool chord changes, like during the chorus of 'Circuit Court', and one of my favorite tracks was 'Life at any Cost'.

I recommend "Reve"... a local Baltimore-area band. Here is a link to some of their music... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOf...ea_k7jDyT1HqEQ
