    Plant

Not exactly the return of the giant hogweed, but a review of Robert Plant's show Saturday night at Lake Tahoe.

At Lake Tahoe, Robert Plant right out of Zeppelin heaven
We're trying to build a monument to show that we were here
It won't be visible through the air

Saw him in Chicago last week, absolutely phenomenal. Such a class act, every song in the set was stellar.

I'm sure it's a great show. Every few months I go back and listen to the "Celebration Day" show and I love it. In some ways more so than the originals. Sounds like he's still "got it" today.

Going off on a slight tangent, his boy has done well for himself:

I wish he'd do some live releases. I've caught a few recent concerts over the last decade and his bands really burn it up.
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

Yes, saw him a few weeks ago in Queens. He's in great form, great voice, great band.

"Fixin' to Die" from a few years ago. These guys are having fun playing this music, that's for certain.

No kidding. Haven't seen him much live but it's a whole other level.

We saw him at LOCKN' a couple years back.. he did two sets.. afternoon then evening set.. nice mix from his new album at the time along with reworked Zep songs that were great.
