“What’s That Sound” : Buffalo Springfield Remaster

Mastering was over seen by Neil Young. Can’t wait[emoji41]

Doesn't look like it has all the demos and stuff that are on the 2001 box set. Of course, that set didn't have the three studio albums complete.

Ya know, I like Neil YOung's music, but I'm not sure I'd trust him to oversee the mastering of...I dunno, a Rod McKuen record, much less something like the Buffalo Springfield catalog.

I know right. He may as well teach guitar technique while he's at it.

For the last decade Neil Young has been stumping for vinyl remastered from analog and banging the Audiophile drums: demanding less compression, more separation sans digital, warmer sound. Will "What's That Sound" waltz down the runway a winner?

Never really got into this group. My brother had one of their albums way back when. I like Mr. Soul. I have that song on a Neil Young compilation.

I've always loved Buffalo Springfield, but it certainly isn't prog, ^^^ and should be moved to the Off Topic page. The Springfield were one of the first, and IMO the best of the pioneering country-rock bands.
Day dawns dark...it now numbers infinity.
