NWW does play live, albeit infrequently. Not sure of the most up-to-date roster but at different points it's been Stapleton + Colin Potter, Andrew Liles, Diana Rogerson, and (I think) David Tibet.
I've suggested NWW more than once on the Big Ears "year end" survey, along with Lustmord, Morton Subotnick, and Ulver. But in truth, based on the live recordings I've heard (Soundpooling, for example), I think it would be most interesting from a "ZOMG I'm seeing a legendary act" standpoint as opposed to being the most riveting musical performance.

Holy shit - what a ridiculous line-up! It's doubtful I'll be able to trek down there, but if I were living in the vicinity I think I'd get happily overloaded (musically speaking, of course). Cheers to those who are able to attend; I'm sure we'll get full reports here on PE.
