For the last 3 years I have gone there have been recording crews at a bunch of the shows. ( The Necks, for instance. Not a very dynamic performance visually, but I would love to hear it again )
I would imagine that if you asked around you would find that there are lots of issues with such a release.
    Permissions editing and production....
José or Adele from Zeitgeist would have the most experience of anyone I know of. Steve F. or the guys from Nearfest would also have many insights.
I have seen many youtube videos from individual performances, but all iphone shaky cam stuff.

You need a big mind to explore the Big Ears Festival 2019. We talk to producer Ashley Capps about his wide ranging, musically far flung festival coming up in Knoxville and give you a sampling of Echoes artists at the festival. https://wp.me/p4ZE0X-fvV

There's that. But it's worth it and still more civilized than most music festivals excepting the late-Nearfest.

At some point, they moved some times around. Not sure when that happened, but thought I'd mention it. Didn't affect my plans too much.

If this weren't a full-day drive one-way for me I'd be there with bells on to see as much music as I could stand. Enjoy, everyone, and please report back copiously!

Happy with what I have to be happy with.
