Look who has a new EP!

I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

Are any of these primarily instrumental?

Colour Haze, Sungrazer, Weedpecker have some vocals. The others are instrumental or may have 1 track on the album with vocals.

Largely instrumental with few or non-vocals at all.

I've discovered Böse. They're from Poland and they're prolific. I've purchased 3 CDs and a few dls due to their prices. https://bosenoise.bandcamp.com/

Went to the Boris show this past Wednesday and caught "Earth" as the opener . . . really surprised and very entertained.

    Good times.

I've heard about Earth for a while - and went in totally green. Very heavy and crazed performance that I really enjoyed.

Boris (as usual) - just crushed the audience and venue into oblivion.

The Hoffman forum apparently took a break from the Beatles to wander into the psychedelic garden paved with stones:

Let's just say the results are less than stellar over the first couple pages.

High On Fire - The Black Plot

Can this be the swan song? The final elbow?

I know HOF isn't death metal, but it reminds me of it in that I like a lot of the music but not the vocals. ^ This song is no exception. if there were no vocals, I'd want a copy of that.

...but they have a Venom/Celtic Frost influence somewhere. That's probably why they remind you of it i.m.o.

I have most of their albums. I can see where the vocals are an acquired taste, but they are a pretty good band. I posted the video because I thought the artwork was cool. A HD version exists on Vimeo, but I only know how to embed videos from youtube here.

It's okay, thanks for posting it. I think my reaction to HOF depends on my mood. I'll hear them one time and love it, and another time I find it obnoxious. Could that be the songs? I'd say it's more likely me.
