    Glenn Snoddy, inventor of the Fuzz pedal dead at 96

    Nashville engineer Glenn Snoddy, attempting to recreate the sound from a defective amp, created the Maestro Fuzz-Tone FZ-1 one of the first guitar effects boxes.
    After a long career in the music production and engineering business he died May 21.
