Wicked Minds are calling it quits

Recent announcement from italian heavy progressive band WICKED MINDS.

Wicked Minds announce that the group will take a period of rest to allow individual players to concentrate on “Electric Swan” e “The Link Quartet” projects. The band will return when they will found the inspiration and the time to be right for a new album.

The members will go on to play and propose their music in different shapes, bringing new sap and passion in projects in which they strongly believe and from which they draw inspiration and enthusiasm.

They would like to thank all fans that followed them and love their music.

I've been expecting this as they were practically inactive for the last 5 years...

Yes, you're right, I've completely forgotten about the covers album as I had stopped at "Live At Burg Herzberg Festival 2006".

I remember how hard it was to find "From The Purple Skies" back in 2006 and finally getting it from some vendor i had never dealt with before. Heavy and psychedelic with lots of Hammond. Haven't spun this in a long time.

Pretty cool group with some material of different levels of quality. But I enjoy both From The Purple Skies and Witchflower.
