    Vimeo is exiting video streaming, another one biites it. Sort of.

    There are seemingly endless options for watching video online, but there's about to be one less. Vimeo is exiting the video-streaming business after 14 years. The site is an online video pioneer and cult favorite platform of indie filmmakers. Vimeo will still be around — it's going from a place for watching videos to one that offers a set of tools for making them.

    I always found Vimeo links bringing me to Vimeo videos on YouTube. Confusing.

    YouTube’s interface has a lot of shortcomings, but if they suddenly said you HAD to pay to access it, I’d be hard-pressed not to pay up to some degree. Worries me.
