Sorry, was a bit fast to post here. It's late July/early August, of course, so it's Summer., not Fall

Phideaux seems to have a strange way of promoting his music. This is his first release in 7 years but it was released on the sly more than 2 weeks ago. The fact that it's only mentioned now on PE is pretty telling because this forum is generally pretty quick to pick up on new info. I don't know how many downloads this release has made yet, but it definitely could have been hyped up a bit more.
    Not just a Genesis fanboy.

My exact thoughts LeFrog. Xavier is a unique dude. Soap opera director invites with lifelong friends to create music.

It was mentioned a couple weeks ago, I'm not sure in which thread though. Someone tipped us off that Kinesis (RIP) had it for sale, so I've had it for at least a week.

You're quite right that Mr. X doesn't do much pub, though.

    It's actually happening!

    From Phideaux's FB page:
"Good day my friends, I hope you are well. I have been hard at work on a new album. It is at the printing plant now and I'm not exactly sure when we will get the physical product. But meanwhile, it's time for me to start to get back into the world."

It shows the state of modern prod when this is the first release in a long time to actually get me really, really excited.

This is one where an "I'll believe it when I see it" approach needs to be maintained. Trust me, it will greatly aid your peace of mind.

I'm confused as I got this already? Unless the bandcamp version were the tracks only and not the CD version.....

It was originally released earlier this year as a cd+digital but sold out.
It's just been made available again as digital download and as you know, " this EP introduces some tracks from the upcoming "Infernal" and presents alternate versions, unreleased material and a live track for good measure".

He just posted a message on FB announcing the EP was available on Bandcamp and saying he would let everyone know shortly about preorders for Infernal. The album is at the pressing plant right now so it shouldn't be long.
